Some of you might know that I also like to knit. Usually, my project of choice has been socks. But, lately, I've felt the need to branch out (and try to find some other projects that will work to help me cut down my large sock yarn stash).
So, today, I signed up on "Ravelry". I know, I know, I'm probably the last knitter in the world to find this exciting site. Actually, I heard about it a couple of years ago when they were first building it, and people were on a waiting list for their invitation! Now, they're all caught up, and I got right on!
The site is another Black Hole that takes up hours of your time before you know it! But since I'm retired, I guess I don't have anything else to do anyway!
And, rather than direct other knitters to my painting site, and make my painting friends suffer through looking at all my socks (!), I decided to dedicate a blog just for knitting and other fiber arts. Hope to see you here again, soon!
